Why film?
I find that the slow, intentional pace of portrait sessions shot on film tends to create more intimate and meaningful photographs. Film also has a unique nostalgic quality and ethereal character that can't be recreated digitally. And, unlike a digital file, a film negative is an artifact that lasts forever.
